  • Student team to school form
    • This spreadsheet is for students and teachers. This is what your students will provide to teachers, things like team name and project scope.
  • School to state form
    • This spreadsheet is for curation of the above student team to school forms. There will be one form of these per school. This is to help ensure that we didn’t miss any teams from the school.
  • Permission and release form
    • This document is for the awardees. Other applicants will be anonymized.

WyGEO is committed to working with K-12 teachers to encourage their adoption of leveraging GIS technology in the classroom. Our network of professionals is ready and willing to work with educators across the state to introduce GIS concepts and increase proficiency with the technology. We have a trove of training materials available for teachers, including course materials based on National Geographic’s Geo-Inquiry Process. We have also partnered with the Professional Licensed Surveyors of Wyoming (PLSW) to create our own GeoInquiry on the basics of land surveying.
