Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the way developers and researchers build interactive applications.  This workshop will explore how Cursor, an AI-powered coding assistant, and Program R can be leveraged to accelerate application development.  Participants will gain hands-on experience using AI-driven tools to streamline coding workflows, enhance debugging, and optimize development efficiency.  Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced programmer, this session will equip you with practical strategies to harness AI for rapid, effective app development.  You will need to install some software prior to participating in this workshop, instructions to follow.

Dr. Shannon Albeke is a Senior Research Scientist within WyGISC at the University of Wyoming.  He works as a Spatial Data Scientist and does his best to stay up to speed with the rapidly changing world of GIS and Software Development.
